I grew up on the east coast. In the first 19 years of my life there, I ate a LOT of pizza. I've had pizza all over new york, new jersey, and philly. (jersey is the best, I swear!) So I feel I can give some decent perspective when it comes to the quality and authenticity of a good slice of pizza. Mississippi pizza has good, traditional, east coast style pizza. I've eaten pizza at plenty of places here in town, and have had plenty of good slices, but mississippi pizza reminds me the most of home. I really enjoy the atmosphere there as well. It's divided into 3 areas; the front is a lot like a traditional east coast pizza joint, pretty basic. This flows into a more cozy area with an area for live music. The lounge in the back is my favorite though, and has a full bar.
Pros: good traditional pizza, nice atmosphere.
Cons: the wait on busier nights
