I went to pompadours to get a modern-beehive updo for a wedding I was attending. My stylist, Kelcey, asked for a photo by email of the kind of style I wanted before hand so she could study it (how professional is that!) so I had high expectations right from the start. The receptionist was very nice/inviting, offered me a drink right away. Kelcey really took the time to make my hair look great - she didn't rush me out just because my appointment slot was coming to a close. She stayed an extra 30 min to make sure my hair was perfect and that it would stay perfect through a whole night of dancing... which it did! I had so many compliments on the style - people kept asking me where I'd had it done because it looked so beautiful! I was only visiting CO for the wedding (I live in NYC) so I can?t make visiting Pompadours a regular thing but if I'm ever back in Boulder for an event I'll know just where to go!
