I must start by saying, I am a restaurant BRAT! Initially, I was not sure how I would like the restaurant based on curb appeal alone (I know, shallow, but true). The curb appeal is not by any means poor; however, it does no justice to the interior of the restaurant. We walked in to a cozy bar area with an even cozier dining room off of it. It is quiet and the color choices are soothing. Ambiance?10 +. The majority of the seating in the restaurant are booths (big plus). In addition, they are big, round, private booths. My boyfriend and I opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was attentive, personable and creative (mojito making skills). He was happy to make recommendations and made good ones at that. The wine?amazing, the food?AMAZING! I had the grilled squid for an appetizer and a chicken sausage and gnocchi dish as an entree.
It is a little pricy if you are looking for a quick bite out; however, it is worth every penny. Dinner was about $75 and that included 2 appetizers, and a main entree (which we split), two mojitos and two glasses of wine.
I would say that the menu is designed for a more sophisticated palate. I will go back to this restaurant and encourage all to give it a try.
Pros: Ambience, service, taste and presentation of food!
Cons: Couldn't possibly think of one.
