This is by far the best sushi restaurant in manhattan. I think I've tried sushi just about everywhere and none have topped Sushi of Gari. The way to go is Omakase, it's very pricey but SOOO delicious. I order takeout from Gari all the time as well, and their presentation is wonderful and the fish there is soo fresh and soft. The most tender delicate sushi I've had. My roommate and I are so spoiled by living so close to Gari that we can't eat sushi anywhere else.
