I know the owner of Pets Galore and know for a fact that the girl from Pet Smart is simply a disgruntled employee who got fired and has no clue what she is talking about. Sure puppies sometimes get sick - they are living animals. The ""back room"" is an isolation room specially constructed and designed - in conjunction with animal control - which has a separation ventiliation system vented to the outside to prevent the spread of airborne germs to other puppies in the store. Pets Galore works with 4 vets to ensure that puppies will be able to get an appointment when needed. They really care about their puppies. The DO NOT USE PUPPY MILLS. I know for a fact that they personally drive all over a 4 state area to pick up puppies from private people. No puppies are ever flown in or delivered by truck. Additionally - there has not been 1 single founded complaint since the former manager - Bob - was fired over a year ago. Anyone can verify this with animal control. They have a perfect reord and do everything possible to maintain the health, safety and welfare of all the animal in their store.
