Garson used to be a delightful Persian restaurant, always busy, always excellent food. Last Sunday night, my husband and our two children went shortly after 8pm and the place was empty. We found out that Yadi, the original owner, had sadly died, about a year ago. He was the soul of the restaurant and made everyone feel welcome. Now, the atmosphere has completely changed. We were told to make our choice quickly because the kitchen was closing at 9pm. - The website had told us a different time. They are no longer serving alcohol, so not even a glass of wine with your meal. It was annoying that we had to listen to the high heels of the personal walking on the tiles behind us the entire time. Our meals were still quite good, except for one. My 14-year old son likes to experiment when he goes out for dinner. So, he tried quail and lamb shanks and that did not agree with him at all. In the middle of the night, he got very sick. Yadi loved his restaurant, and I wish the people running it now would honor his reputation.
Pros: fast service
Cons: atmoshere has changed completely, food probably not always fresh
