I went to Maya last night after reading reviews here, and the food and drinks were awesome! I highly recommend this place. I am vegetarian, and there was just one vegetarian option but it was so tasty. My husband loved his chicken dish as well. The food was very flavorful and rich in spices. The only downside is that there is a wait inspite of making a reservation. I made a reservation and still had to wait for at least 20 minutes. But the people were very nice and friendly, and the food and drinks were worth it. I had a mango-lime margarita, which was also very tasty. I will probably go back there - probbaly only because it is very far from where I live. FYI, the place is very loud and full. Also, a tad expensive - 2 margaritas and 2 entrees with 1 order of quacamole came up to $102 with a tip, which is still fine for NYC.
