JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts is an interesting place to explore. There certainly is a wide variety of stuff to buy there, with an inspiring variety and layout. Convenient for many locals of Colonia, Avenel, Rahway, and Little India, this store has been a landmark for years since it's predecessor CarpetWorld closed their doors. The Viking Sewing department in the rear half of the store is fun for sewing hobbyists with quality Viking goods. Crafters, teachers, counselors, and others who work on a variety of projects usually can find what they need there to satisfy IF they have the time. While the employees at JoAnn's are generally enthusiasts themselves, the company (based in Ohio) went through a period of financial abuse by it's former Chairman and CEO who pocketed millions of dollars through stock options and manipulation. The new guy seems to be doing his best since leaving Fred Meyer Corporation to attempt to save JAS (as it is known in the stock market). JAS stock (graph) profile speaks
