I've always considered the Doghouse to be my "neighborhood" bar, even though I no longer live in Midtown. I'm disappointed that the new owners decided to sever ties with longtime bartenders Jason and Omario (both of whom can now be found a few blocks east at Leons Lounge). Greg is still there, though, and new hires Jennifer and Rachel are top-notch servers. Pay close attention to the drink specials; they're advertised on a poster inside the front door.
Pros: Greg, Rachel and Jennifer will take good care of you
Cons: Margarita machine is out of place; new owners should not have let Jason and Omario go
