I experienced Volterra last night and had a wonderful time. The service was warm and hospitable and they really knew how to take care of a guest. The menu was thorough, clever and enticed me to come back to try more. And the food was amazing! The scallops were fresh and bright which made me feel as though I had seen a glimpse of summer. For dessert we had the Caramel Napolean....you can't miss it....the crisp phyllo dough with the airy caramel pastry cream was light yet so sinful! Volterra is a fantastic place to relax and experience dining out in Tuscan style.
