Greatest Steak in the Burbs 4/5/2007

Although Texas Roadhouse doesn't exactly have ambiance and isn't romantic at all, it's still a fun place to eat and it serves its purpose well. Upon entering, you see basket after basket of fresh bread being baked and a large display of enormous cuts of meat. Upon being seated, you can choose a cut of this meat or order from the menu. I ordered off of the menu. Service was decent, but nothing special. Unlike other restaurants which give you free stuff, this place gave you the bread as you were seated, so you can dig as soon as you sit down. Bread was refilled promptly. I ordered the 16 ounce Ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken dish my father ordered was nothing special. The baked potato and baked sweet potato were excellent. It's a fun, great dining experience. Pros: Steak, Side Dishes, Bread, Service, Drink Selection more
