My wife and I just moved back to the area recently and we wanted to join a local gym. So we made our way down to Future Fitness for the ""free"" two week trial they advertised on their web site. When we got there we were forced to sit through a 1 1/2 hour sales pitch where I really don't think the salesman listened to anything I said to him. It seemed to me that he was reading from a script that he uses on every person that walks in the door. He just keep asking me over and over what my fitness goals are and if I was self motivated to come use the gym, even after I told him about a dozen times that I have been going to the gym 7 days a week for the last year and a half and the only reason I needed to join a new gym was because my old gym is 500 miles away, but that did not stop his constant questions on motivation and goals. At one point I just told the guy that I know people who go here and I just want to freaking join so give me a stinking price.
Pros: nurse on staff, spinning classes, free monthly personnal training
Cons: Sales pitch, needs more free weights and benches,
more
