This was the best oysters I have EVER had anyplace except at Mama's. This was our first time at this restaurant, so our waitress brought us small samples of the soups and a free Oyster Nacho. Thank goodness my friend did not like oysters and I got hers too! She had a catfish poorboy and I had the oyster poorboy, and we both ate every bite! The sample of the Jalepeno Soup was good enough to lick the bowl. The gumbo I thought had too much File, and I am not a fan of Clam chowder so I could not rate that. All in all it will be a place we go at least once a week for lunch. For the two of us with tea it was $17, so that is a reasonable lunch.
