Fancier than necessary, but still good eats. 3/14/2007

A solid three and a half stars. This is not the kind of place you go for kanom krok or red fish curry wrapped in banana leaves (for that go to Wat Thai on the weekends). FOr an upscale Thai place, though, it's quite nice. Although they weren't very impressed with the few words of Thai I speak, our waitress was sweet and on top of the food. Especially memorable was the green beans with filet mignon. The (vietnamese) spring rolls were nice, the satay was good, and so was the fried rice. All in all, if you have waspy friends who are a little bit too fancy to take to Sunshine Restaurant, take them here, they'll get off on the coconut milk. Pros: Green beans with filet mignon. more
