WOW !!! I walked into Amy's Diner (formerly Old Hickory Rest)..Pleasantly surprised. Attractive staff with outstanding service and personality waited on me during my visit. When my food arrived promptly, i was astounded at the portions that I received. Not to mention the flavor of each bite of food that I tasted. I could not believe that i could find a restaurant that cooked like my grandmother use to cook when i was a child. On a second visit, I was as pleased as i was on my first visit. They offer such a wide selection of meats and veggies that i couldn't make up my mind as what to eat. Fresh salads, and homemade soups that attracted me from eating my normal meat and vegs....and the BURGERS....ARE TO DIE FOR.!! I know that I will go back now to experience their breakfast. i am sure that it will be as AWESOME as their lunch!!
