NW 21st Avenue needed a place like North 45! A place where you can go and hang out, drink interesting cocktails, and eat amazing food with people that are friendly and talkative. I love that it is smoke-free. I've been there twice so far, and had a blast both times. I was with friends, but met some new friends while I was there because its a mingle-friendly environment. The music was totally eclectic; at the end of the night, Salsa music was on and people were dancing. The energy is very good in this place, and I think its a tribute to the owner and the bartenders who are all very helpful and proactive in making sure that you have a good time. They also expanded their space with an amazing patio area in the back that is going to be great once the weahter improves. If you haven't checked this place out yet, you definitely should! I should also say that the food was delicious and the portions are large! You won't be able to finish! I had mussels, and my friend had the BLT. Both were delicious!
Pros: Friendly staff, great food and drinks, fun for mingling... friendly patrons, smoke-free!
Cons: Parking can be hard on 21st, can be crowded because its a small, cozy space
