Having been in the wine business for many years I get a chance to dine all over the country and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I was completely impressed and surprised with the wine list, it had many hard to get wines like Martinelli, four different bottlings very reasonably priced. Radio Coteau, which is a tiny winery barely known on the east coast, but produce amazing wines. The real star here though is the food. Simple, clean and not overly manipulated Mediterranean fair. The duck confit was my particular favorite. I was also impressed by the level of wine knowledge our server had. She told me they train with the owner every week and have tasted most of the wines on the list. I ended up staying at a Newton hotel on my stay because my hotel in Boston was over booked, so I ended up at Ariadne completely by accident, and it was the best part of my stay in Boston.
Pros: Food, wine list, service
