She, however, was off on vacation, so I ended up with an unknown doctor. She diagnosed my problem as achilles tendonitis. She said that if it wasn't better in 4-6 weeks, they would put it in boot.\r
Four to six weeks is not an option when every step sent shooting pains up my leg. I had an appointment already scheduled with Erik Isaacman at Inner Gate Acupuncture. He gave me the same diagnosis, but also said there were things he could do. After the very first visit, I was walking out of their offices feeling less than half of the pain with which I entered. By the next day, the pain had subsided to 25% and the third day, it was all but gone.\r
