One of the other reviewers mentioned the owner is from Miami Beach and this is the first restaurant in NYC . . . that shows. This place has the chance to be a true long term hidden gem but something is off. It is a restaurant on paper but there is no love here, no feel of a truly welcoming place. The food and selection is fine, but people come out to a place like this to blend into the environment a bit, here it's a little vacant.
