Went to the same haircutter (maria) at this salon for over a year, always left a 20% tip as I received a decent cut for the price. However after a recent appointment blunder, I chose to find another salon. Was waiting for my haircut, 30 minutes goes by the appointment time (made 2 weeks in advance), then 45 so I asked the receptionist how long should I wait? Her response, oh she's in the middle of a haircut so it would be another 30 minutes? Huh? So, I asked her why the delay when I made my appointment 2 weeks ago. (Sorry but an hour delay seems excessive for someone who has made an appointment!). The reason . . . hairdresser had taken a walk-in appointment. Guess she forgot her regular customer's appointment. As I had a meeting to attend, I was forced to leave with out my haircut. Did she bother to call and appologize?, NO. Guess 20% is too cheap of a tip these days. Hope the walk-in was worth the lost of a customer.
