My wife and I went to Blaue Gans for Valentine's Day. We ordered off their six course V-Day prie-fixe menu. I understand it's a tasting menu, but the portions were ridiculously small. The entrees were not good. My wife's poisson was undercooked and my braised beef was about the size of the foie gras appetizer brought out initially (which was about the size of a small Post It pad). After the entree, they brought us each a chocolate lollipop. What they didn't tell us was that it wasn't an actual lollipop, but a ball of fried dough with chocolate sauce inside (which they should have told us beforehand). Thinking it was a lollipop (and solid), I took a bite and proceeded to spill chocolate sauce all over my pants. It was the perfect ending to the night :)
