I have been getting bikini waxes for 16 years (mostly in New York but also in London, Phila and DC). My first brazilian was at the famed J Sisters in New York City last year. When I returned to LA, I was sick about who would be able to help me maintain it. The first experience (due to my hair and skin type) took close to an hour and left me in doubt about whether it was worth the time and excruciating pain. After my first experience with Jodi, I was HOOKED and now would never allow anyone else to touch my goodies! Her skill and technique are unmatched. She applies different types of wax depending on the length of hair, level of curl and region. She recommends techniques for post-wax maintenance, stays on the cutting edge of new products for better skin maintenance and is always seeking feedback on which products work so that she can stock those her clients love, not the product companies flavor of the moment. Aside from all that, Jodi simply rocks! She gives each client the personal touch and does it all in 15 minutes or less. Quite frankly, I wonder whether the recent complainer gets enough lovin cause who needs (or wants) their aesthetician down there for an extended period of time. Isn't that the purpose of the brazilian so others want to spend more time down there? Viva Jodi! My one-year anniversary is approaching and I will be buying her dinner!
