I've been to Dumont Burger on several occasions, and have always been a big fan of the food and the decor, but after a number of really bad delivery experiences I think I have to call it quits. The other night the order we placed took well over an hour (okay, we had been warned that it could take an hour, but still...why an hour for a couple of burgers?) and by the time the food arrived it was ICY cold. Which is not how I like my french fries. I think you know what I mean. When I called to complain, the response I got was ""Well, what do you expect? It's cold outside."" Seriously? How about not sending the poor delivery guy out walking with eight (count 'em, e-i-g-h-t) uninsulated orders on a night when it's 15 degrees outside. And the reply from the guy on the phone (or lack thereof) was lousy. Not a credit, not an offer to re-deliver...nothing. I can't believe that the chef or the owner would want to offer their normally delicious product under such crappy conditions. I can't patronize a place that doesn't value its customers.
Pros: Good food...when it's warm
Cons: Lousy attitude, bad delivery service, long waits at restaurant...basically only call for pick up!
