I went to the Edison a couple of times and it was great. The interior is amazing and truly one of a kind. The crowd is young and trendy, the drinks are good, and the place is not crowded like the typical bar/club in hollywood. Its roomy with plenty of room for seating. Its a good place for a large group. I went last weekend with a large group, most of whom where from out of state. I was eager to show my friends this unique bar only to learn there was a strict dress code. It was a requirement to wear a long sleeve buttom up shirt. One friend was wearing a Lacoste polo and would not let him in. My other friend was wearing a long sleeve sweater and he too could not get it. Prior to this night I really liked this place, but after this experience I don't know if I would go back or even recommend it. Really upscale clubs in Hollywood do not even have a dress code as strict as this place. This place is nice but the staff at the door completely ruin the experience. If you decide to go, (for the guys) you might as well wear a suit if you don't want any trouble at the door. Without the door staff I would rate this place an "A." Because of the door staff, I would rate this place a "F."
Pros: Unique decor and good crowd.
Cons: The worst door staff who won't let guys in unless their practically wearing a suit.
