Alfies is that restaurant you immediately notice from Roosevelt Road. The building is large, with the exterior resembling some castle from Old World Germany. The interior of the restaurant looks somewhat aged (from the 70s), but is designed to match the exterior with metal knights of armor standing guard.\r

The menu is American, but based on the design of the restaurant, you'd never know it. The burgers and fries taste really incredible.\r

While the table service was okay, the person running the register was a real b*tch. I had to wait about 5 minutes for her just to show up and take my money. When she did show up, she had an attitude. Although I used a buy-one get-one free coupon, she still charged me sales tax on the free meal and b*tched about that too.
