I have been eating here for years and the food has always been good enough to bring me back. Recently I paid another visit and the food was outstanding! It all seemed to be so much better than I remember, so I inquired. Come to find out, the previous owner sold it to his daughter and son-in-law and they had made a few improvements. I had the brisket without sauce and it was so tender and full of smoke flavor I couldn't believe it. Apparently they had a few tricks up their sleeve when it comes to cooking. I am also pleased to announce that they are FINALLY offering great homemade cornbread and beer, something a BBQ should never be without. This restaurant went from a B rating to an A++ almost overnight and I would highly recommend it to anyone. God Bless You Po- Boys!!! :-)
