I've been looking forward to eating at Joe's for months now, and I have to say that our experience was lacking on several fronts. Our food arrived cold, and my buddy's pork chop was rare and cold. The decor is beautiful and very comfortable, but the wait staff and kitchen could use a few more weeks of training. \r

I've been to Damien Mandola's Trattoria Lisina in Driftwood several times over the past few months, and I think it's the best Italian food around Austin. It's packed every weekend for dinner so the word must be getting out. Do yourself a favor and go check it out as you will not be disappointed. They also have a vineyard and offer very affordable wine compared to other restaurants in Austin. \r
