The Loop used to be a favorite place of mine and my coworkers for lunch and happy hour. The food used to be distinct and delicious, from apps (especially the calamari) to salads. Unfortunately, they've drastically changed their menu and the last time I brought my family from out of town here, it was not impressive (borderline embarrassing after how I'd talked it up). The calamari was basically covered in ragu (no chickpeas or capers that brought uniqueness to the dish)- hardly appetizing- and the steak sandwich was soggy, worse than most chain restaurants. To top it off, they've removed some amazing items from their menu. This place used to be a gem- needless to say I was completely disappointed and don't plan on returning.
