upon arrival to houston's manhattan beach, we were promptly greeted with a friendly hostess and a 20 - 30 minute wait time. my boyfriend and i waited at the bar for over an hour. the hostess made a comment about 40 minutes into it and said that there were people who were almost done and that we were going to be seated soon. we waited another 20 minutes at the bar since we didn't have reservations and when we went to check in at with the hostess, she promptly said we were the next table to be seated. well, we waited another 10 minutes and after all that decided to sit at the bar since we were so hungry. then, we waited for about another 10 - 20 minutes for my salad and another 10 - 20 minutes for our dinner......if she only told us that it would of been about 45 mins to an hour in the first place, we would of walked out and not even bother! what torture! it used to be my favorite place to go and have a nice dinner, but no wonder why it took almost a year to go back - bad service!!! i forgot.....now i'll remember!!!
