After moving down here from NY it has been hard for me to find another stylist. I keep going to salons with photos and am very direct about the cut I desire. It just seems as if my words go in one ear and out the other. I was very pleased with Salon Cherie. The first time I went there I scheduled an appointment with the owner Cherie. I let her know about my situation with stylists and my hair problems (super fine, flat, split ends.) I brought a photo and as she went along she stopped to ask me specific questions to ensure I would leave satisfied. Cherie also provided me with tips and tricks to keep my hair looking good, and she wasn't afraid to say ""this might not be the best thing for you/your hair.""
Pros: decent price, quiet location, plenty of parking
Cons: having to remember to schedule about a week+ ahead of time
