I am not from the south, but I love good southern cooking; having visited GA, LA, VA, NC, and TN and tried loads of tasty foods. So, I was anxious to find good, down home southern, creole cooking without having to fly east. My GF and I tried the Thursday evening special of Fried Chicken. It cam with your choice of two sides and cornbread. We selected the baked beans and hush puppies. The chicken was good; definitely better than the colonel or churches, but not the best I've had of late. If you are in San Francisco on a Thursday night, go by Home on Market for a good fried chicken breast. The hush puppies were a little dry. The beans were good. We also took some sweet potato pie and red velvet cake. Neither was something to write home about, the red velvet cake in particular was too dense, not moist, and to be frank was stale. It was like eating day old bread.
Pros: Parking, Price and Service
Cons: Average food
