This is the second time i've been to Pipa and after the first time, i couldn't wait to go back, but after this time, it will be a while before i go again - if at all. The food is very good, however, yesterday i brought in a group of clients to entertain for lunch and we had a group of 8. It was not crowded in the slightest bit and our server was TERRIBLE. I was a bartender at one point in my life and i'm usually very forgiving for bad service if the person is at least giving it a full effort, but he obviously was not. His attitude was terrible and he was not friendly at all. One person in our group had questions about the menu and it was as if we were annoying him. I dont know if he didnt care b/c he knew he would be getting the 20% gratuity for a party our size or what, but i've always been one to tip extra for good service and i did not yesterday b/c he ruined our meal. I dont think it was as big of a deal for the rest of the group, but to me - as the person picking up the tab - I will not look to Pipa to entertain a large group again. There are plenty of other places that would love the business. The whole experience was terribly disappointing
