Sometimes this place is great, other times not good at all. The pepper garlic shrimp (served only in the Monkey Bar) two weeks ago was outstanding: flavorful, crispy, perfectly cooked and served with a large portion of broccoli. Last night the same dish has subdued flavors and the breaded topping was falling off the shrimp, as if cooked in oil of the wrong temperature or left sitting too long before serving. It was served on a bed of lettuce with no broccoli. Papaya salad was fresh but bland; this should be a spicy dish. The freshness of seafood can also be a problem, particularly on weekdays. It does have a nice atmosphere, and when the food is good it's worth the visit.
Pros: Food can be great
Cons: Food can be substandard
