The Dr.s and staff took very good care of my cat, Molly, when she was dying. I had taken her to the vet in Sycamore when she first started losing weight. The vet there told me to put food down for only 15 minutes in the morning and again at night and that would teach her not to be fussy. I explained she was losing weight and she had never been a fussy eater. He repeated the same thing. I know my pet better. The vets at Prairie View took my concerns seriously, thought I knew what I was talking about and had her tested. Kidney disease. They spent a lot of time answering my questions, let me cry on their shoulders and really made me feel like she was in good hands. When I brought her in to be put to sleep, a heart-wrenching decision, they gave me time with her, did not rush me, treated us with the utmost kindness and compassion.
