I was in Austin overnight for business and Eastside had been recommended to a business associate as a nice place to eat near my hotel. Neither of us had eaten there before but the experience would definitely warrant a return visit and recommendation to others visiting Austin. The unique and eclectic menu should allow everyone to find something to meet their tastebuds. I particularly enjoyed the Shrimp and Goat Cheese Quesadillas as an appetizer. While practically everything we tried was very delicious, neither of us cared for the Stuffing, it was extremely bland and could have benefited greatly from a sauce or gravy. The wine list was also somewhat eclectic which allowed us to share a nice reasonably priced bottle. Since I travel a great deal it is nice to fine places like Eastside - a real joy after chain restuarants and room service.
