How important is service and respect to your dining experience? 11/8/2007

Unfortunately for Staten Islanders located ?mid-island? their choices for quality diner cuisine is limited to the Colonnade Diner. This diner fairs adequately when your litmus test is based solely on how quickly you want your java refilled. To be fair, the options on the menu and substantial, but only a few are done particularly well. The wait staff is less than friendly. They are however quite pleasant compared to management. If you arrive, order your meal, eat quickly, pay your check, and get out?. You will be fine with your colonnade experience. If however you have the unfortunate experience to have to speak to the manager for any occasion at all, you will make a personal vow (as I have) to never return to the Colonnade diner.\r \r Zagat ? Staten Island \r Pros: location / hours open Cons: poor customer relations more
