My cousin stayed at this establishment late this summer. She was alone. She cut her stay short because she became frightened to remain. The owner/manager came to her room and told her that he was going to search it . When she protested he said it was company policy that all rooms be searched on Sundays and pushed past her and looked in her drawers, refridgerator and left. He was not seen going to any other rooms. The few other guests wer men or couples. On thursday a lady friend of ours & I were visiting her when this same man came down and put his nose right against the window, cupped his hands around his eyes and piered in moving his head to see as much of the room as possible. When she went to the door to inquire as to what he wanted. He started screaming at her that her friend had to check in with him and tell him their business with her was before they could go to her room. (Note that all the room entrances were on the outside of the building. ) During his tantrum he also said that she ""couldn't have her friends lounging around her room all day. We had been ther 45 minutes at most. When we protested and said he was over stepping his rights that we didn't have to tell him our business with my cousin he started saying that we were fighting & thats why he could do that. This was a total falsehood, we were talking and laughing about a show she had watched. He left us all frightened. I was nervous about leaving her alone there over night . She was able to make arrangements to go to another motel the next morning and checked out. She had originally planned to stay there at least 3 weeks.
Pros: good location
Cons: Safety for a woman alone is questionable, harrassment at the least, no housekeeping to the room in a week and the room was dirty when she checked in.
