I enjoy Opals outdoor patio, beer selection, and some of their food. I would probably frequent the restaurant more often if it wasn't for one major issue. You see, Opals has yet to realize we are in the age of credit/debit cards. The servers claim that Opals has a ""no separate check policy"". Being that we usually go for happy hour after work, this becomes a problem come time to close out. One person always gets stuck trying to figure out how much each person owes. This is very stressful and turns an enjoyable, carefree night into a stressful mess. I've worked in the service industry in the past and realize it might be a pain for the waiter/waitress but it is definitely appreciated by the clientele. My co-workers and I (along with my fiances co-workers) choose not to go to Opals just to avoid this situation.
