East Coast subs is close to where I work, and I am tired of the huge chain sub places. So I decided to check it out. I have heard not so great things of their less than par philly steak subs, so I decided to order the Italian meat. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo. Well, the sandwich was less than advertised. 1/2 sandwich? More like 1/4 sandwich!!! Four bites and the sandwich is gone. Well, I didn't make it that far. One bite into the sandwich, and I had the foul taste of old bologna in my mouth. I pull apart my bread and the salami is brown with a small circle of pink in the middle. Blah! I have never ate brown salami, and I would not recommend it. So with little option, it was time to move on to the soup. Tortilla soup to be exact. The stuff taste pretty awful. I have had better soup out of a can. It was so salty, I was afraid to put crackers in the stuff. Oh yea, who includes packs of crackers with tortilla soup? I thought all tortilla soup was served with strips of TORTILLA!!! Save your money, or spend $3 more for your meal and go to The Judge Cafe. Less than a block down the street. They have great tortilla soup there, and it is all made fresh.
Pros: None!!!
Cons: Horrible food...small portions...old meats!
