Dr. Allegra did sinus surgery on my 16 year old daughter. First, he grossly underestimated the amount of anesthesia she would need and she was in great pain and shock when I went to pick her up. At night when she literally could not BREATHE I called Dr. Allegra. I explained her situation to him and he acted as if it were no big deal. When I suggested she should go to the emrgency room he was very dismissive and responded as if I were crazy. I had the feeling he didn't want anyone to see his mistakes. My daughter was in agony and scared to death. Niether she nor I will ever forget that night. Not only did Dr. Allegra cause much unnecessary pain and suffereing, he was totally cold and heartless to boot. There are lots of other docs out there. Use one of them!!!
