The Halloween Event for kids certainly has seemed to decline. It was advertised from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, and before 2:00 pm the majority of the stores already had ""no more candy"" signs on their doors. If you're going to advertise a public event, and the stores are going to participate, they should certainly make sure they have enough candy for the kids. They are all next door to a Target - I'm sure they still had candy for purchase. I left with my granddaughter around 2:00 and some children in their costumes were still coming. For what - no more candy signs on a good share of the doors. I know I will certainly cut back on patronizing these stores. A little (candy) goes a long way when you want to attract customers.
