I am a big fan of Einstein's but they seem to be slipping in their standards. The bagels are great. But they need to pay more attention to the service aspects of the stores here in Albuquerque. More often than not, service gets behind during the rush periods and it takes too long in line to order. Better (more) staffing would be the answer. Also, for some mysterious reason they are ignoring their tea drinking customers. Within the past few months it has become impossible to get simple black tea (ala English Breakfast or Earl Grey)--the stores I have visited carry only flavored teas or herbal teas. The staff explain that is all they receive. Since tea is the new hot market segment in the beverage business, it is surprising that Einstein's is doing such a poor job of serving this segment. My advice: go for the bagels, but bring your tea from elsewhere!
