My wife and I periodically go to the Siam Society to enjoy their exotic drink menu and have a few appetizers. The time we actully decided to dine we got a great table in Dustin's section. He is what made this Thai restaurant different from the other dozen Thai restaurants on Alberta Street. When we asked him about wine he first asked us what we were looking for, and then just brought us a glass and it was perfect (and it was one of the cheaper glasses on the menu, which I respect). Then after that he gave us perfect service, he was not overbearing, or overly cheesy, he made me feel like I was a good friend of his rather than a customer he was trying to make money off of. For all of these reasons I will come back, as well as good food(Try the ko soi curry and the Banana Roasted Pork). The bottom line is anyone can cook you a good meal these days, however finding great service is like looking for a needle in a stack of needles. As for the owner I do agree with everyone about him being unprofessional - he should stick to owning the place and stay out of the way of the staff who knows what they are doing.
