I ate here on 9/19 with a friend of mine after a visit to the High. We had an overpriced, average-tasting $80 mid-afternoon appetizer/drinks combo. Subsequent to this meal our credit cards have been charged over $500 total on behalf of Table 1280. Both myself and my friend have had to dispute our AMEX bills for everything but the $40/each. I have called Table 1280 and have spoken with both Ellie and Valerie who assured me it was the fault of their 3rd party POS provider and they were in the process of remedying. I've called and left subsequent messages and they haven't been returned in over a week now. We'll settle this through AMEX, hopefully, but their customer service is just as sub-par as their overpriced food. I live, work and play in Midtown and will never return to this restaurant.
