Simply the best Japanese restaurant I have ever visited in Houston. This restaurants operates more than 20 years by a Japanese couple. Service is great every time I visited. For the menu they have the normal English menu (of course the safe choices for non-Asian) and a hidden Japanese menu if you ask, where there are all the exciting, authentic items. I tried one day ankimo, which is basically the liver of a deep ocean fish. Almost as delicious as foie gras! Lunch box is very affordable, (<10 dollars) and of the same great quality. Cannot wait the next visit to Nippon!
