My fiance and I are new to the area, and one of the first things we do after we move somewhere new is look for a good mexican restaurant. We drive past Casa Grande every day and decided to give it a try. The food was good, though a bit greasy. For me, a good margarita is an essential part of a good mexican meal, and I was very disappointed. I had the standard margarita on the rocks, and it tasted watery, weak, and too ""mix-y."" I expect restaurants that advertise themselves as ""authentic"" mexican to serve margaritas made the authentic way, but these were definitely sub-par. However, the sopapillas we had for dessert were delicious and almost made me forget about the sad margarita. I would go back to Casa Grande, but more likely for lunch or on a night that I didn't want a 'rita.
Pros: Cute atmosphere, large menu, reasonable prices
Cons: Watery margaritas
