Good Indian. Bad Service? 1/12/2007

I love Cedars. When I was at UW, i would go there religiously. There are always two main arguments about this place. Food vs. Service. I would have to say that 99% of my friends LOVE this place. The spices are terrific, almost every dish is a can't miss. I've tried to many other Indian restaurants in the area, but none really compare to Cedar's (and Taste of India). Their naan is the fluffiest and the chai is the tastiest. Banjara is pretty good on Queen Anne though. \r \r So on to the service, I don't necessarily say it's bad, rather, it's efficient. This place is always packed, so they have to get people in and out as soon as they can. Obviously, when there is a waiting list of 20 deep (speaks volumes), they can't have you sitting there forever. Although, they lack much personality, they always fill up your water and there is always an accesible server there to help you. \r \r Overall, I personally feel that the food greatly outweighs any ""poor"" service you may receive. Pros: food, food, food more
