We went here after hearing great things and doing some research on a fun new place to try for a Saturday night dinner for two. The decor is very colorful and bright with bright lighting. The atmosphere is definitely great here. However, there are a few things that I would look for before I return. One is that the tables are so dang close that I could hear every word of the couples sitting on either side of us. I literally felt like the lady next to me was about to jump into our conversation a few times. That's my personal pet peeve. Secondly, the food needs some improvement before I will return for dinner. While the portions were huge, the calamari and my wild greens salad were pretty standard. In all honestly I think what really tainted the experience for us was my husband's caesar salad. The dressing was honestly terrible - it tasted like watery mayo and had no garlic, pepper or lemon that we could taste at all. The croutons (bread, not the oyster ones which were an option) could break your teeth and also had no flavor, and the lettuce itself had several large chunks of the center of the head of lettuce that were just inedible. It also had baby tomatoes, which is not something that is typically in a caesar. It was just all wrong! Lastly, the server was friendly and knowledgeable but completely inattentive. Our water glasses remained empty throughout our meal, and since she never checked on us we were unable to ask for the salt and pepper we desperately wanted for our salads. In all fairness, the table next to us had a different server who gave them great service, so maybe our server was just having an off night. All in all, it's refreshing that Redmond finally has a restaurant that's new and hip and isn't part of a large chain. I like to support that but they need to get a caesar salad right and keep water glasses full. They do have a fun atmosphere and yummy chocolate mints on your way out. Hopefully our experience was just a kink that they will work out!
