I took my wife for our 10 year anniversary to dinner at this great french restaurant named Chez Gerard. The attentive staff made our anniversary a memorable one. Dinner is pre fix 6 course meal costing $48. Starting with amuse bouche tthat was a slice of turkey rolade with a cranberry chutney. Then an appetizer, we chose the escargot and Lobster salad. For the main course we had the Filet mignon with bearnaise sauce and the Dover sole filetted tableside made us feel like we had special attention. The international cheese course followed the main course and the knowledgable server educated us on their more than 10 different cheeses. For desert we enjoyed an ever so delicate Grand Marnier souflee and Apple tartin with vanilla ice cream both served on plates decorated with ""Happy Anniversary"", a very nice touch. At the end there was a sweet suprise of truffles and cookies to finish of the meal. Before we left this memorable meal the chef came to our table to wish us a happy anniversary personally. I must suggest you come hungry and willing to spend some time in this charming restaurant.
