We've been going there for 22 years, since our kids were 4 and 6 and the place was recommended by a cop at the Bronx Zoo who warned us away from more pricey tourist places nearby. The staff treated our kids like young adults, talking directly to them. There were no menus and no checks then. just ""Whaddyuh want?"" and ""Wajjuh have?"" We loved it, and the food was excellent. The parkings's tougher now, the wait's a lot longer, but the food's still definitely is worth the aggravation. If you're looking for a quiet little candle-lit table in the corner, go somewhere else.
Pros: Everything. Okay, maybe a little too noisy.
Cons: None, unless you're looking for a romantic mood.
